What many have feared has come true. Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together! Yup, Chris Brown is back in Rihanna's arms almost three weeks after the alleged assault that left the "Umbrella" hit maker bruised and battered as evidenced by the leaked police photo on TMZ. Do I hear a chorus of angry protests and cries of "What is she thinking?"? I can't believe it as well. After the bruises have healed it seems that good judgment was gone as well. However, some call it love, true love. Eew! Then love is truly blind!

People Magazine broke the news of the Rihanna-Chris Brown reconciliation quoting reliable
sources that the two have kept in touch "reaching out to each other" when Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday last week. There were reports of this happening but I didn't believe them at first. Now, it's turning out to be true. Here's an except of the People Magazine report:

Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The pair have reunited almost three weeks after Brown, 19, allegedly battered the "Umbrella" singer on Feb. 8, a source tells PEOPLE.

"They're together again. They care for each other," says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs's homes, on Miami Beach's Star Island.

Adds the source: "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves."

The two are apparently together, holed up in one of Sean "Diddy" Combs' house in the Miami Beach area. It seems love has conquered all. Now with this reconciliation, what will happen to the assault and battery case Chris Brown is facing? has he been forgiven and the case forgotten?
