2009 The Bachelor finale: Jason Mesnick, The Bachelor 13 finale

Who will be the 2009 The Bachelor finale winner? It's down to Molly and Melissa in The Bachelor season finale as Jason Mesnick introduces the final two women to his son, Ty. At stake is the chance to be Ty's stepmother and a $68,000.00 ring.

Who will win The Bachelor 13? March 2 will be the final episode entitled "The Women Tell All" where the finalists will meet Jason Mesnick's son Ty. DeAnna Pappas, who dumped Mesnick in The Bachelorette, also pays a visit to shake things up a bit. ABC said in an earlier press release that this will be "the most dramatic finale in 'Bachelor' history."

Json Mesnick recently made an appearance on The View as part of his promotional tour for the season finale. As such, many questions were thrown at him surrounding the result of the reality series and whether he thinks he made the right decision for himself and for his son Ty. When the hosts asked what he loves about each of the women in the finals, Jason said that Melissa is "sweet, beautiful, fun, exciting. She's everything." Molly, on the other hand, was described as being a great friend, and Jason describes their relationship as "young fun". Is this s clue on which girl he ultimately chose? Sounds like The Bachelor 13 winner is Melissa to me! Or is he just throwing us off with that answer? Hmm.

Find out who wins when the finales airs this week. There will also be an additional hour where "viewers will be treated to the latest update on the happy couple and the woman Jason Mesnick didn't choose". Ouch! Also, there will be a scene where he cries on the balcony which Jason later describes as a "raw" moment and reveals that he never cried that hard in his entire life.

Rihanna & Chris Brown back together / Chris Brown forgiven?

What many have feared has come true. Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together! Yup, Chris Brown is back in Rihanna's arms almost three weeks after the alleged assault that left the "Umbrella" hit maker bruised and battered as evidenced by the leaked police photo on TMZ. Do I hear a chorus of angry protests and cries of "What is she thinking?"? I can't believe it as well. After the bruises have healed it seems that good judgment was gone as well. However, some call it love, true love. Eew! Then love is truly blind!

People Magazine broke the news of the Rihanna-Chris Brown reconciliation quoting reliable
sources that the two have kept in touch "reaching out to each other" when Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday last week. There were reports of this happening but I didn't believe them at first. Now, it's turning out to be true. Here's an except of the People Magazine report:

The pair have reunited almost three weeks after Brown, 19, allegedly battered the "Umbrella" singer on Feb. 8, a source tells PEOPLE.

"They're together again. They care for each other," says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean "Diddy" Combs's homes, on Miami Beach's Star Island.

Adds the source: "While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves."

The two are apparently together, holed up in one of Sean "Diddy" Combs' house in the Miami Beach area. It seems love has conquered all. Now with this reconciliation, what will happen to the assault and battery case Chris Brown is facing? has he been forgiven and the case forgotten?

Lil Wayne "Prom Queen": new Lil Wayne music video teaser

A few days before its official release, Lil Wayne's "Prom Queen" music video can be found on YouTube. This "Prom Queen" video, however, is just a teaser of the actual Lil Wayne number we will witness when it is officially premiered on March 3, 2009 on "Jimmy Kimmel Live". According to AceShowbiz, the video is "o-directed by Wayne himself and Dave Meyers, it will have cameo appearances from rapper Birdman and music producer Ronald "Slim" Williams."

Towards the end of last year, Lil Wayne announced that he would release a debut rock album titled "Rebirth". It is slated to be released on April 7, 2009
(or it is May 19?). "Prom Queen", the lead single, debuted on January 27 immediately after a live Internet broadcast of his concert in San Diego. "Prom Queen" peaked at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Jennifer Hudson on Oprah / Jennifer Hudson Oprah video

It was a glamorous and seemingly refreshed Jennifer Hudson that we saw on Oprah recently. Jennifer Hudson's Oprah appearance was her first television guesting since the tragic killings in her family a few months back and she says she is rarin' to go and has learned a lot from that experience. "I'm just glad to be back and be back to work again just doing what I love to do," Jennifer told Oprah Winfrey. "It's like therapy. I'm in a very good place."

Hudson and Oprah also talked about other issues in her life and career at present, among which was her appearance at Superbowl XLIII where she
sang the Star Spangled Banner before a capacity crowd and millions watching on television all over the country. Though some in the media commented that she was rather cold and aloof in that appearance, she countered saying there "was too much going on [for her] to take it in," she stated, "It's just like, I'm glad I made it to the end of the song. That's how I am. OK, I got this now, I'm home. I'm going home now."

They also talked about her fiancee David Otunga and how emotional she was accepting her recent Grammy from Whitney Houston. But one of the highlights of Jennifer Hudson's Oprah show appearance was, of course, her performance. She sang "If This Isn't Love" with a live band to the delight of the studio audience. The song is taken from her award-winning album, Jennifer Hudson.

Terminator Salvation: promo footage of Terminator Salvation

A new preview video of Terminator Salvation is set to be released soon. The Terminator Salvation trailer will premiere on Entertainment Tonight on Monday, March 2, 2009 but the network has released a teaser for the preview. Posted below, it is a short clip showing fresh scenes from the soon-to-be-released movie trailer - showing shots of the battles with the terminators and some romantic scenes.

Terminator Salvation, the latest release from the blockbuster franchise is set in 2018 and focuses on the war between humanity and Skynet. It abandons the formula of previous entries in the
Terminator series, which involved the Terminator and various other characters traveling through time to protect or kill John Connor. It is both a sequel and prequel to the previous films. Here's a synopsis from Wikipedia:

Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Christian Bale), the man fated to be the leader of the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators, and the future he was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Paula Deen's pants fall / Paula Deen pants fall down video

Yes, we've got the video of Paula Deen's pants falling down on her television show. Paula Deen was a guest on the Oprah show recently and revealed this slight mishap that happened to her while hosting her popular television show.

It seems like she knew the pants were a little too big for her so her stylists at the program did some temporary remedy - using safety pins to keep the pants in place, at least while the show was being taped. However, as she was hosting the show, the pin must have snapped or
given way. As a result, the pants slipped down as she was walking on the set. Paula immediately pulled them back up much to the delight of those who were watching the segment.

Top Chef 5 winner: Hosea Rosenberg wins Top Chef season 5

After a grueling season of cooking competition, Hosea Rosenberg from California was declared Top Chef 5 winner / 2009 Top Chef season 5 winner by beating two other hopefuls and grabbing the $100,000 top prize. Rosenberg pleased all the judges with the result of their last challenge, something the two other aspirants failed to do. The challenge looked relatively easy for this season's finale. They - Rosenberg, Carla Hall and Stefan Richter - were required to come up with the best Three-course meal of their life. However, a requirement was to include alligator in the menu and this is where their creativity was tested. Like in previous season finales, the three finalists also received the
assistance of previous contestants with Hosea picking Richard (from season 4), Stefan taking Marcel (from season 2) and Carla getting Casey (from season 3).

It was Carla who stumbled early on when her souffle failed to rise to the occasion. She later decided not to include it in her menu - something the judges frowned on. Stefan, on the other hand, included the alligator in his soup but the judges were not impressed. It was Rosenberg who impressed all twelve judges and was ultimately declared winner of this cooking competition.

"It felt amazing to win, but to have it come down neck and neck with Stefan just made it all that sweeter," Hosea Rosenberg was quoted saying after being declared Top Chef 5 winner. "That was the icing on the cake. This is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life. I know a lot of people are going to be proud of me for this. I could not be happier."

Story Synopsis: Lost season 5 episode 7, The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham

The episode begins an unknown amount of time after the crash of Ajira Airways Flight 316, which took off from Los Angeles in the previous episode, "316", and has crashed on the small island where the Dharma Initiative Hydra Station is located. One of the crash survivors, Caesar (Saïd Taghmaoui), searches an office in the Hydra Station, finding several documents and a sawed-off shotgun. He is interrupted by Ilana (Zuleikha Robinson), who informs him that a man no one remembers seeing on the plane, has been found: John Locke (Terry O'Quinn). Locke explains to Ilana that the last thing he remembers is dying.

The narrative shifts into an extended flashback of Locke's time off the island, since he left it in "This Place is Death". In late 2007, Locke awakens in a desert in Tunisia, where he is brought to a local hospital and visited by Charles Widmore (Alan Dale). Widmore informs Locke that several years previous, Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) exiled Widmore from his command of the inhabitants of the island, referred to as the Others, and tricked Widmore into leaving the island. Widmore pledges to help Locke reunite the Oceanic Six—Jack Shephard (Matthew Fox), Kate Austen (Evangeline Lilly), Sayid Jarrah (Naveen Andrews), Sun-Hwa Kwon (Yunjin Kim), Hugo "Hurley" Reyes (Jorge Garcia) and Claire Littleton's (Emilie de Ravin) infant, Aaron—in order to bring them back to the island. Widmore gives Locke a new identity, Jeremy Bentham, and assigns Matthew Abaddon (Lance Reddick) to assist him.

Sayid, Hurley and Kate all refuse to go back to the island after being visited by Locke. Locke also visits Walt Lloyd (Malcolm David Kelley), but decides not to ask him to return to the island because he has been through enough already. Meanwhile, Kate's conversation with Locke leads him to look for his old girlfriend, Helen Norwood (Katey Sagal), who he discovers has died. While visiting her grave, Abaddon is shot and killed; Locke gets into a car accident after he flees the scene in a panic. He awakens in Jack's hospital, where the two once again argue about the island. Before Jack leaves, Locke tells him that his father, Christian Shephard (John Terry), is alive on the island. This greatly upsets Jack, and he leaves. Locke then goes to a hotel, where he attempts to hang himself. Ben, however, shows up and talks Locke down. He admits to shooting Abaddon, claiming it was to protect him. After learning of Locke's plan to seek advice from Eloise Hawking (Fionnula Flanagan) on how to return to the island, Ben kills Locke, making it look like a suicide. He then takes Jin-Soo Kwon's (Daniel Dae Kim) wedding ring, which Jin had entrusted to Locke. The narrative returns to the present on the island, where Locke discovers an unconscious Ben among the injured passengers of Flight 316.

NCIS season 6 episode 17: NCIS 6.17 / NCIS South by Southwest

A fellow Naval Criminal Investigative Service agent dies this week in NCIS season 6 episode 17 / NCIS episode 6.17 and the team must exert all efforts to solve this crime. Entitled "South by Southwest", the temas embarks on a quest to find answers regarding the death of their fellow agent. One lead to look for a woman who holds the clues. However, they find out that she lives in the desert and Gibbs and Tony ahve been tasked to look for her. What piece of the puzzle does this woman have? And what else will Tony and Gibbs encounter in their trip to the desert. These will all be revealed when NCIS episode s06e17 unravels with "South by Southwest" this week.

In a related development, it seems that the final touches are falling into place for the spin-off of NCIS. It has been recently reported that Louise Lombard, Peter Cambor and Daniela Ruah will play lead character in the upcoming series the title of which is not yet final as of this writing. Also being tapped for the show are Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J but they're still in negotiations.

It's almost time for one of our favorite anime series once again and I am sure many of you can't wait for it to be shown. This week's Bleach episode is entitled "Aizen and the Genius Boy" ["Aizen to tensai shōnen" (藍染と天才少年)] and it continues the adventures of a teenager named Ichigo Kurosaki who can see ghosts and becomes a Soul Reaper after assuming the duties of Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki. For this week, no episode summary has been released as always. Thus we are left with no idea on what the storyline will be except for what
we can deduce from the preview clip available on YouTube. However, it is in its raw version (Japanese) so good luck in trying to understand it. But don't worry, the full episode will be aired soon.

2009 Oscars winners list / Academy Awards winners 2009

Did you predict the 2009 Oscar winners / Academy Awards winners 2009 correctly? I almost did. I just missed in the Best Actress category having predicted a Meryl Streep win over Kate Winslet. i thought the Academy would give it to her this time since she has not won in a long while, and also because of her SAG win. The actors' block being the biggest guild in the Academy, I was almost sure that Meryl would win this time. I was wrong. Though I'm quite disappointed with the result, Kate Winslet was a good choice.

In the other categories (the major ones at least). Who couldn't have? This was probably one of
the most predictable Oscar races in recent memory what with the momentum "Slumdog Millionaire" has built up over the past months ever since the awards season started. It would have been a waste of money to bet on its competitors as they had very little chance of winning against what has become the movie world's latest darling. Sean Penn was a predictable winner too despite Mickey Rourke's surge in other awards ceremonies. The Academy, in recent years, have seemingly put a premium of good behavior when choosing winners and in this area Mickey Rourke definitely had a disadvantage. Penelope Cruz was a good bet as well. She had been nominated before, and lost. Marissa Tomei had won before; Amy Adams and Viola Davis canceled each other out coming from the same film as did Davis and Taraji Henson canceling each other for the black vote. That left Penelope with a clear path to the podium.

Despite being probably the most predictable award of the evening, Heath ledger's win was very touching. And when his family spoke in his behalf when they accepted the award, everyone felt their loss. This was not a family celebrating his victory. this was a family still coping with the loss of a beloved son.

BTW, why were the Ledgers seated so far back when all the nominees are usually given front seats to make it easier for them to go up the stage?

Gundam 00 season 2 episode 20: Gundam 00 s2 ep 20 sub

The latest adventures of the your favorite anime comes to the screen this week with Gundam 00 season 2 episode 20 / Gundam 00 s2 ep 20 entitled "Anew Return" ["Anyū Ritān" (アニュー・リターン)]. I am sure many of you have been waiting for this episode all week long. that's always the case with these anime series, you can't get enough of them and can't wait for the next installment. The episode was shown earlier today but only the raw version is yet available online. Allow a couple of days more and the Gundam 00 s2 ep 20 English subbed

Summary: Gundam 00 season 2 episode 20

Anew reveals her allegiance to the Innovators and working with Revive, both attempt to steal the 00 and the 0 Raiser for Ribbons. However, Anew is unable to steal 00 when Setsuna and Lockon catch up to her while the O Raiser is retaken when Revive is outwitted, although the two manage to escape. Revive, Hilling Care, and Anew soon return with new machines (including Louise in her new Regnant Mobile Armor) to finish the job. Lyle attempts to get through to Anew, which results in the almost complete destruction of Cherudim; but just as it appears he has succeeded, he is caught off guard when Ribbons takes control of Anew. But as she prepares to strike him down, Setsuna pulls the trigger and shoots her, just as he said he would if the situation called for it. In a GN particle induced vision, Lockon and Anew share one final moment together before her suit explodes and kills her. Back at the Ptolemaios 2, Lockon takes out his feelings on Setsuna, and as Tieria tries to stop Lyle, Lockon throws a solid punch at Setsuna before he collapses in grief.
