watch PINK's Grammy Awards performance VIDEO: awesome!

If you thought Lady Gaga's performance that opened the Grammy Awards last night was fantastic, this other one is much, much better, in my opinion - Pink's performance of Glitter in the Air.

It wasn't loud, it wasn't outlandish. It started with Pink walking on stage garbed in a pink hooded gown and singing her song. She then walks off the stage to the audience and momentarily stops in the aisle. Before continuing with her walk, she removes her gown to reveal a see-through tights. A team from Cirque du Soleil
performs nearby and Pink joins them, mounting a draped cloth as she spins in the air above the audience. She continues with her song all the while spinning in the air. The contraption goes down to go up again but this time with Pink dripping wet. She one again spins in the air and then lands on stage to finish her performance.

This was the best number at the Grammys last night. Move over Beyonce, Lady Gaga, et al. You have all been eclipsed by Pink!

Pink performance at the Grammy Awards: looking for Pink's Grammys number a la Cirque du Soleil? Watch the video of Pink's Grammy Awards 2010 performance below and see for yourself why I have chosen it as the best performance of the event last night.
