Crystal Bowersox Midnight Train to Georgia (VIDEO): Idol top 10

Crystal Bowersox said last week that she had a surprise this week. Well, it was the piano. Crystal accompanied herself on the piano for Midnight Train to Georgia - Gladys Knight and the Pips' classic.

How did she do? Well, I wasn't overly impressed like her past performances. Her vocals were good at times but she was kinda inconsistent throughout the song. She wasn't that bad but I think we expected more from Crystal Bowersox this week.

The judges were mixed on her performance this week: Randy said, “I love the outfit, I’m working with Gladys Knight now…you did her proud, another great performance.” Ellen said, “You’re never not good, it’s another side of you. you are in it to win it, it was a wonderful idea.” Kara said, “I’m really glad you took that risk, I can’t wait to see what you do next week” Simon said, “Choice of song was sensational, vocals at times were incredible, You were uncomfortable with the piano–do not let this process suck the identity out of you, what you were doing before was fantastic, I had no problem, you know what you should be doing, just do what’s comfortable for you.”
