For golfers having difficulty making par each time they play golf, read this. An American teenager from Alabama just scored a round of 57! Yes, a 57! Bobby Wyatt won the Alabama State Junior Golf Championship for the third time with a score of 57. Wyatt had 12 birdies, an eagle and five pars on the par-71, 6,628-yard course at the Country Club of Mobile. And get this, it would have been a 56 but his birdie putt hung on the lip on the 18th green and he had to settle for par.
“It was unbelievable,” he said. “I got off to a fast start with
birdies on my first two holes, then was 3-under after four and it kept going from there.”
Ryo Ishikawa holds the record on a major tour with his 58 in the final round of The Crowns tournament on the Japan Tour on May 2 of this year.
