Wowowee has aired in final show. With much drama and tears, the hosts of the noontime show that entertained the Filipino masses for five years bade goodbye to its millions of loyal viewers today. A new noontime show will be replacing it tomorrow, hosted by Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla together with Wowowee handovers Mariel Rodriguez, Pokwang and Valerie Concepcion.
Many fans were waiting for Willie Revillame to
make a final appearance on the show but it was not to be. Willie is reportedly abroad at the moment. For their part, the other hosts of the television show read a prepared statement on Wowowee's demise, thanking everybody who has supported the program all these years. Watch the VIDEO below:
ABS CBN management announced the replacement of Wowowee earlier this week after months of speculation on the program's fate. Willie was rumored to be coming back to the show after an indefinite leave following the controversy created by his challenge to the network.On Saturday, July 31 ABS-CBN is launching a new noontime show called Pilipinas For The Win (PFTW), the new show will be hosted by Robin Padilla, Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie Concepcion, Pokwang and Ms. Kris Aquino. It is a game and variety show that will surely bring joy, energy and hope to Filipinos all over the world. PFTW will replace Wowowee. Willie Revillame through his manager was already informed about this new development. He was also notified about the new program being planned for him and this will be announced in due time.
