It's New Year's Eve once again and time for the annual ball drop in Times Square. This New Year's eve tradition is New York goes back 100 years and getting more popular each time especially through the internet. Millions around the wall now watch the Times Square Ball Drop on the web. But nothing is more special than watching it live in New York.

below, thanks to the official stream from Times Square. Just minutes before midnight Eastern Time, you can tune in to watch the ball drop live, ushering in the new year. The event starts at 5:55 PM ET up to 1:00 AM of 2011 and includes performances from some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry as well as interviews with many more who join the Times Square New Year's Eve event every year.
