After a three-month break, The Event returns with a two-episode installment. Entitled And Then There Were More and Inostranka, episodes 11 and 12 air on March 7, 2011. Elsewhere in The Event 1.11 & 1.12 (1x11, 1x12), Sean and Leila get a fresh lead on the whereabouts of Samantha, but it leads them to a dramatic turn in their lives. James Dempsey foresees that he and Sean will once again cross paths.

Melissa Leo is now an Academy Award winner. But that's not her only distinction. Leo is also the first Oscar winner to drop an f-bomb in her Academy Award acceptance speech. "When I watched Kate two years ago, it looked so effin' easy. Oops."
She quickly apologized backstage at the press room. "I apologize to anyone that was offended," she said. "It was probably a very inappropriate place to
use that word in particular."
It was understandable. Melissa Leo was genuinely stunned with her win. Sure, she was the front runner after winning so many of the previous awards. But her personal campaign for an Oscar raised a lot of eyebrows in Hollywood and there were talks that Oscar voters were turned off by the move. Many said she just lost the Oscar with that campaign. Fortunately, they were wrong.
The Event returns after three months in hiatus with two hours of revelations.
The president and his chief of staff (Roger Bart) order the intelligence community to decrypt Thomas' satellite message and also figure out to whom it was sent; a surprise attack by Thomas is handled by Blake in a heroic standoff; a new Alaskan senator threatens to reveal information about the Mt. Inostranka detention facility on "Hardball With Chris Matthews"; Sean and Leila discover new information about Samantha's whereabouts.
Sally meets some ghosts in an old, vacant part of the hospital; Aidan helps a boy who's being bullied; Nora and Josh continue their awkward courtship; Rebecca resurfaces. All these in the next episode of Being Human.

In one of his first interviews since his now much-publicized rant, Charlie Sheen said he wants a raise. Charlie Sheen was interviewed on NBC's Today Show, one of two "exclusive" interviews he granted this week, and continued his attack on CBS and his show's producers.
Two and a Half Men has been cancelled for the season last week due to Sheen's attack on Chuck Lorre, one of the show's producers. And that didn't
sit well with the troubled star. He now says he wants $3 million per episode if they want him back on Two and a Half Men. But the big question is, does CBS want him back?
He may be a big star, and the show was built around him. But Charlie Sheen's bizarre behavior and his public troubles with booze and drugs may be too much for CBS. I don't think they'll want him back. Besides, I think Sheen is slowly losing his grip on reality.
Gwyneth Paltrow returns to Glee in the next episode entitled Sexy. Gwyneth will be the sex ed substitute teacher who will be introducing "reforms' in the subject, much to the objection of Sue Sylvester.
While everybody was caught up in the excitement of the Academy Awards, the Independent Spirit Awards 2011 was held the night before. And it produced a bizarre and scandalous scene involving Rosario Dawson, Paul Rudd and Eva Mendes.
It started when Paul Rudd and Eva Mendes went on stage to present an award. Suddenly, Rosario Dawson joined them and proceeded to grab
Paul Rudd, right at his family jewels. But then he in turn grabbed Eva Mendes. The audience was stunned, needless to say.
What was Rosario Dawson thinking? Was she drunk? Or is this whole thing a practical joke?
Update: Okay, it was a joke. The pictures alone could not explain what really transpired but fortunately, a video of the whole thing was posted on YouTube. Here it is:
And here's Rosario Dawson's explanation on why she did it:
"I'm a women's rights activist and I was getting a little tired that he was grabbing her [Eva Mendes'] boob onstage for half an hour," she claimed. "Nothing bad, but it was funny."
"I was sitting there with my fork like, 'If he doesn't stop, I'm going to stab him with my fork'," Rosario further explained her act. "So I got up there and I stabbed him with my fork, and he didn't stop, so I was like, alright, I'm going to grab his package."
The Academy Awards is over, another twelve months to wait for another night of glamor. People waiting for an upset were disappointed as many of those predicted to win did - The King's Speech, Colin Firth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Melissa Leo. They all really deserved it. But one upset could have made the evening a little more exciting.

It was sweet revenge for the De La Salle University (DLSU) Lady Spikers in UAAP Women's Volleyball 2011. The DLSU Lady Spikers swept past defending champion US Tigers in Game 2 of the finals held at The Arena in San Juan City.
La Salle was aiming for their sixth UAAP women's volleyball crown, a title they last won in 2009 and lost last year over UST. But this year, the Lady Spikers could not be denied. After sweeping the eliminations and winning Game 1 of the finals, they
were is their usual dominant form against their arch rivals.
Winning set 1 and set 1 with their familiar dominating play, it looked like DLSU would coast to victory. But UST fought back in set three and even held set point leading 24-19. But La Salle came back, thanks to its veterans Cruz, Mercado and Alarca, to win it all.

Charlie Sheen's rant closes sitcom. The remaining season of Two and a Half men has been canceled due to Charlie Sheen's scathing rant on Chuck Lorre, one of the producers of the successful television show. In an interview with Alex Jones, Sheen attacked Lorre for reasons we still do not know. He promises to tell all, though, in a book the troubled star is reportedly preparing.
Has Charlie Sheen lost his mojo? Has he gone completely nuts after all the
booze and drugs that have been plaguing him all these years? Has he lost touch with reality? Or does he have valid reason to attack Chuck Lorre?
